Everyone who visits The Barn - our rural
offices just outside the cathedral city of Lichfield - has been
impressed by the surroundings and we certainly haven’t looked
back since moving here from Birmingham over 5 years ago.
When we discovered it, The Barn was completely
derelict so we were able to plan the layout with the architect - designing
the interiors to create the relaxed atmosphere which makes working
here a real pleasure. This seems to be borne out by our visiting
clients - who find the atmosphere both inspiring,
productive and memorable.
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all goods and services supplied by SLE Group Limited and its operating divisions. Any provision, stipulation or condition in the Client’s conditions of order or otherwise which conflicts with or in any way qualifies or negates any of these Terms and Conditions shall have no effect and these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. Confirmation to proceed is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2 Stage Payment Schedule
We would seek to agree a stage-payment schedule for the project, normally identified in the Project Costing. Any first stage invoice will represent a non-refundable deposit. Agreed changes to project costs during the project will be balanced against the final invoice.
3 Purchase Orders
We would request that a formal Purchase Order or Requisition is raised for the full amount in order to confirm the project. We reserve the right not to commence work on the project or to withhold goods and services in advance of the event if the appropriate authorisations (or similar written confirmations) are not received.
4 Invoice Settlement
All invoices require settlement strictly within 30 calendar days of invoice date, except where otherwise indicated in writing. If settlement is not completed by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on any amount outstanding based on the annual rate of 4% above the base rate from time to time of Lloyds TSB, accruing on a daily basis until full payment is complete.
5 Crew Accommodation Costs
Where crew accommodation and subsistence is necessary, we would normally expect agreed costs to be settled by the client direct with the provider. Alternatively, we will process these costs on a client’s behalf with an administration fee of 15% of these costs being applied to the direct costs.
6 Confidentiality & Copyright
The content of all submitted creative proposals; costings and any other documentation/intellectual properties is copyright and remains the property of SLE Group Limited. It is our policy to take steps to protect this confidential information and any attempt to utilise or misuse the information contained in submitted documentation, or use the contents to seek alternative quotes, will result in the charge of a fee for our initial endeavours.
7 Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event of cancellation (or undue postponement) of the activity we would expect reimbursement to cover our incurred, committed and projected costs at the date of cancellation. Similarly, should a cancellation, postponement or rejection occur following the initial briefing and submission of our proposals, we reserve the right to charge a fee for our initial endeavours. For the purposes of calculating a cancellation period, in the absence of any written order confirmation, we would deem commencement of a project to be the date of submission of our initial project-costing document. The period between this date and the date of commencement of the event shall be deemed to represent 100% of the event production period. Any cancellation occurring during this period will incur a charge amounting to the percentage of the total identified costs, equivalent to the number of calendar days passed between commencement and cancellation.
